Dear Wayne:
I had anticipated that you would want to check the update level of the
destination computer in this scenario.
I am weighing this against the problem I have. This computer belongs to a
client of a client. Most of the time anymore, my consulting business works
for those who are building the software for someone else. It's cumbersome
to try to get my client to make a trip to their client to find this
information. For me, this would be a 1200 mile round trip to try to get
entry into a facility where nobody knows me. Besides, it is I who works
form them, no they who work for me. Given the seemingly low level of
interest on this topic, I don't think this is going to happen. I do regret
this.
Hopefully, the information presented here could be a basis of understanding
for experts who need to know quickly what is up when something like this
arises. I can see that it may be that this will begin appearing more
frequently. "Forewarned is forearmed."

Yes, it makes sense, but we won't now until you check the version levels.
I've seen newer Jet service packs introduce problems where the older ones
worked. The current lever is SP8, which seems to have the "introduced"
bugs that I've found fixed again.
