Hi Everyone,
My company has five divisions, each of which need their
own profile in AD. I am going to assign a customized
mandatory profile to each division to keep things uniform,
but I also do not want to give the users certain rights,
therefore I will have to apply group policies.
My question is: do mandatory profiles overwrite group
policies, vice versa, or do they work together? Is there
a better way to push out profiles other than what I am
doing? I've tried folder redirection, but that meant
making a seperate group policy for every division. This
way, I can apply the mandatory profile, and have one
umbrella group policy go over the top of it for every
division. Any suggestions would be very welcome.
Thanks!
