Malicious Web Addresses

After surfing the net I clicked on a web page, then several more malicious
pages appeared, fortunately I have an up-to-date pop-up blocker now, so the
problem I am facing now is trying to delete a stubborn web page from my
address history. Even after clearing the history several times, deleting
files, deleting cookies, nothing is working. I would start typing
www.c....then the web page appears every time, it is stuck in address fill,
and somewhere in my computer system. I even performed a search to locate the
malicious file. But nothing is working. I even tried to re-install IE 6,
but that appeared to mess up other files. Can you help, how do I get rid of
this web page?
