MAKING PROGRAMS AVAILABLE TO ALL USERS

M

mmitch

I have 4 users in a Domain with their own accounts and profiles. I am
a
local administrator for each PC. Programs we are loading range from
DOS
folders w/ executables, batch files and applications developed in
VB.NET.
That being said, when I add shortcuts to the all user folder and then
have
each user login and try, the ICONS are transparent and don't work. How
do I
resolve this problem so that each user can run programs under their
account?
In addition, users can not have poweruser or administrative rights.

Thanks--

Hi,

I would guess that the user accounts do not have appropriate permissions on
the folders that hold the actual applications. I would adjust them so that
they have, at a minimum, read and execute permissions.
