making an MDE file

Hey everyone,

Question: I've just converted my database with user-level
security from Access 2000 to Access 2002 format. I'm now
trying to make an MDE file of it, but it comes back with
the error message "Microsoft Access was unable to create
an MDE database." after the prompt where to save the file
to.
I'm not quite sure what I'm missing. I'm in the admin
group, my user account has all possible priveliges and
I'm the owner of everything in the database. The database
only runs on one computer with only a single user logged
on at any given time, so I'm stumped as to what I'm
missing. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Recompile the your VB code then try it again.

Chris,

Open any code module, and select Compile from the Debug menu. Fix the error
that gets reported, and repeat the process until no more errors are
reported. Then try to make the MDE.
