"make this folder private " grayed out:xp home

Hi, I was able to uncheck or check "make this folder
private" before. other Pcs on network were able to
connect my shared folers.

However, their access is being denied now and "make this
folder private " became grayed out.

I do not want to uncheck "use simple file sharing" under
Windows Explorer/Tools/Folder OPtion because everything
worked fine with the option in the past.

I already have Client for Microsoft Networks, File and
printer sharing for Microdoft Networks, Qos Packet
Scheduler, Internet Protocol installed under Local Area
connection Properties installed.

Please let me know how to resolve this problem. Thanks in
avance.

Thanks for replying. However, mine is already NTFS and the folder is already under my profile. As I mentioned, other people were able to enter my folders in the past but, suddenly, they are not able to enter my folders any more. We have about 11 computers and mine is the only one that is showing this problem. I do not have any virus on my PC. Please help me out. Thanks in advance.

I forgot to mention that other people "on other PCs on our network" were able to enter my folder in the past but not any more.
