V_R Thank you for your sugestion. I used to have a box come up, that asked me if I wanted to make pics smaller or keep same size for emails, but it has disapeared.

Are you talking physical size or file size?

if file size resave the pictures as JPEGs or GIFs.

Hi Techy all my Photographs are saved as JPEGs, they are a large size taken with a 10 meg camera. I often send photo`s by email to friends, who do not have broadband, and I would like them to be sent to them smaller, so it does not take for ever for them to open.

Techy yes but too complicated for my purpose. I used to be able to send emails via attachments, a box used to come up asking if I wanted to send attachments smaller or normal size, but for some reason it has disapeared.

If you want to make the photos even more smaller, then try this

www.snipshot.com

You can easily save pictures in smaller formats, and fiddle around with other bits.

Just a suggestion if you want something more fun than what itsme suggested ;):p
