Make Outlook 2003 use default browser

P

Paul Haskew

I have installed FireFox to test it... and so far I cannot
get Outlook 2003 to use the default browser, namely
FireFox, it will open the link in FireFox then open IE as
well.

Obviously that gets really annoying, any ideas?

I assume you checked the option in Firefox to use it as the defaule browser?
I use FF as such and it works fine from Outlook email messages.

Open Internet Explorer, go to Tools, Internet Options. Check the box to ask
IE to check to see if it is the default browser. Close Internet Explorer,
open Foxfire. Open IE, then tell it no when it asks you if it is the
default browser. Foxfire should now be the default.
