Make gadgets go from bottom to top?

I have a background that changes daily with a calendar but the gadgets block
it because the calendar is in the upper right corner of the background image.
I like the gadget features but I like that background that came with my Acer
Ferrari and I'd like to be able to use both but I cannot figure out a way to
make the gadgets auto-sort from the bottom up rather than the top down.

Is it possible?

Not to my knowledge. Right click your mouse on the gadget pane, and you have
the option to locate the pane elsewhere on the desktop.

I think there is a gadget that allows you to do this. I saw it a couple of
days ago. I think it's called Gadget Spacer.

Cheers.

Sort of...

You can resposition a single gadget by clicking on it while holding
down your left mouse button, then drag it up or down within the
Sidebar area or even move it onto the desktop. The key is finding
WHERE within the gadget you can "latch on" in order to move it around.
Some are easy to move, others you need to more carefully position your
mouse's cursor while holding down the left mouse button. Sort of
wiggle your mouse around until you see it move the gadget some, then
you can move it anywhere.

Also many gadgets have a tiny hand at the extreme right. You see this
if you move your cursor over the gadget. However if your monitor is
poorly calibrated or has the brightness cranked way up, then your
monitor's image may have bloomed out hiding this feature since it
appears within a few pixels of the extreme right edge of your
monitor's screen.

You can also detach a gadget from the sidebar and position it anywhere
you want on your desktop. To do this:

(1) Go to your System Tray and open the Windows Sidebar icon;

(2) If needed, press the little + symbol at the top of the sidebar if
nothing is in the sidebar;

(3) A window with available gadgets will appear, select the ones you
want;

(4) Right click on a gadget and "detach" it from the sidebar;

(5) Right click on the sidebar and close it. The detached gadgets will
now be on your desktop and can be positioned anywhere you want.

(One note, I have noticed that swome graphics programs, particularly
games, move the detached gadgets from where you put them and leav e
them, somewhere else on the desktop. Frustrating but tolerable.)
