Make Folders Private and Windows XP Home?

Edward

I know how to make folders private, but is there a way I can do that en
masse rather than go into each account and set it? There are going to
be about ten people on this machine, I'm going to make eight of them
Limited users, and two of them admins - but everyone will have their
files private.
Is there a way to do that?

Open users accounts in control-panel,sign on with .NET,you'll see "make
files,folders private" click yes...

There is no "Easy Button", sorry. When you are working with one
standalone computer running XP Home, you need to do everything by hand.
What you could do is:

1. Log into an account with administrative privileges (probably yours)
and create all the other user accounts from Control Panel>User
Accounts.

2. Log into each new account once. Log out and back into your own
account. Really log out, don't use Fast User Switching.

3. Now log into one of the accounts and set it up exactly the way you
want it and then copy it to the other accounts. In effect, you've made
a template and now you are going to use it.

It's still work, but less than hand-configuring all 8 accounts.

An alternative is to just create the user accounts and then use the MS
Shared Computer Toolkit to set restrictions.
