Make a Replica the Design Master

Matthew

I somehow misplaced my "design master" database; is there a way to convert a
replica into the design master?

Hi,

My name is Amy Vargo. Thank you for using the Microsoft Access Newsgroups.

Open the replica that you want to make the new Design Master.
On the Tools menu, point to Replication, and then click Synchronize Now.
Select the current Design Master as the member to synchronize with.
Check the Make 'Filename' the Design Master check box.

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.

That did it.

Something strange (but not as important), all of my querys, tables, etc,
have a yellow icon with two arrows. If I go to "properties" for any object,
under "type" it says "Table (Replicated)"

Is there a way to get rid of that?

Hi Matthew,

My name is Amy Vargo. Thank you for using the Microsoft Access Newsgroups.

You will notice this as by design for a replicated database. You will also
notice that in your tables, you will have 3 fields that mark the table as
being replicated. This is so that synchronization can take place.

I hope this helps! If you have additional questions on this topic, please
respond back to this posting.
