Make a copy of a DVD?

C

Captain Jack

I have a DVD of my Uncle's funeral and want to make other copies. The DVD
contains photographs and music, not a movie. How can I do this?

The following free software "ImgBurn" can copy
a DVD. (of course...you must have a DVD burner)

ImgBurn
http://www.filehippo.com/download_imgburn/

1) Create an image:

How to create an image file from a disc with ImgBurn

2) Burn the image onto another DVD.

How to write an image file to a disc with ImgBurn

Once you have the Image created.....you can
burn as many copies as you like.

Hi John,

Would this be a burner you would recommend for anyone wanting to add this
'missing functionality' to XP.
I just asked a question about this in the XP general group. I had a dvd
burning drive for some time but only just realised I had only written to it
with Roxio up to now (which I no longer trust as it has 'disappeared' one
video file too many!). Seems odd that XP never anticipated formatting and
writing to dvd with a simple right click!

Cheers,

S

Depends on what you are planning to use
it for...why not give it a try?

Here's another freebie that may be useful
to you:

CDBurnerXP

Cheers John,

That's the same one they were recommending in the XP general group, so it
must be worth a try.

Cheers,

Yup it certainly was!
Lovely clear layout and the least hassle I've had to copy anything... ever!
750meg copied within 3 mins of downloading!

There has to be a catch!

No catch that I'm aware of...

Sometimes the freebies are better
than the apps we pay the big bucks for.
