MAJOR PROBLEM

My computer usually runs fine, but it has started acting very wierd.here is
the problem i am having: when i left click an icon and it highlights it on
the desktop it doesnt un-highlight when i click the desktop itself,it stays
highlighted, when i click another icon on the desktop it highlights that icon
as well and it keeps doing that, when i drag an icon on the desktop to move
it, it makes a shortcut of the icon and keeps duplicating my icons. other
problems i have are, my keyboard has stopped working, i am using a wireless
keyboard to type this just now but my keyboard that i plug into the back of
the computer just stopped working.

It sounds like you have "sticky keys" enabled, try disabling it.

This would happen if your Ctrl key is being pressed continiously
Pressing control allows you to select more than one item and when yo
drag it creates a shortcut. You said your wireless keyboard works. Wh
not use that?

For your wired keyboard, it will not work again untill you restart you
computer with it plugged in on startup. And if it still dosen not wor
check all the pins on the lead making sure they all slot into the por
okay.
