major problem

My compaq laptop is just now 1 year old. it boots to a blank screen with just the mouse cursor. I do have blank as my wallpaper but there are no icons or taskbar. the only thing I can do is use Ctl/Alt/Del to open task manager. I can run my games and very few other programs. The ones i cannot run show as blue in the browse window. I cannot open my web access, control panel, or system restore. any Ideas will be appreciated

Taskbar Is Missing When You Log On to Windows

Your taskbar and desktop icons disappeared?? you can control your computer ONLY
with the task Manager??
dynamic desktop media it's an adware!!

See if you have this task running:-
1) end following process: sysu.exe
2)delete following folder: C:\Programs\ddm
