main table not populating

i created a main table and also smaller tables. I made subforms from the
small tables and put the subforms ina main form. When i fill out the main
form, all the tables of my subforms are populated BUt my main table has only
2 out of about 30 fields populated. So the report i generate from the main
table is almost empty. What can id do to get my main table populated so that
i can generate a report from it. The recordsource of my main form is the main
table

Did you enter anything in the other 28 fields in the main table? Did you save
the main table record prior to printing the report?
