Mails not being pushed out... stuck in Outbox

I have mails stuck in the Outbox which are not being sent out. These were
mails that were sent yesterday and got stuck on account of a problem in the
laptop. I am able to send new mails created today. I am unable to edit these
messages as Outlook displays a message 'Outlook is already transmitting this
message'. What can I do to revert the message and be able to re-send the same?
