Hi Gary,
I can send emails out, but I can't recieve any. It says the problem is
the server, but I don't know what word or code goes in that space in the
properties. The emaill address I am trying to set it up with is

If you can help that'd be greatly appreciated.

You have entered an incorrect name for the mail server.
Each ISP or mail provider has their own mail servers, so that is
where you go to get the correct mail server names.
Do you have an existing email address? If so, the part after the
@ symbol tells you who the provider is, and they should have a
web page that explains how to set up your email program. If you
need help with looking up the mail account settings, get back
to us with the name of your mail provider.

bowesandcocks.com uses a hosting company called "Nexicom.net" This page has
the server names you need:

http://www.robtex.com/dns/bowesandcocks.com.html

The SMTP server should be smtp.nexicom.net and the POP server should be
mail.nexicom.net from the looks of it. A call to bowesandcocks.com should
verify this information.

Assuming the email address you posted is related to your issue,
I looked around on the Sheridan website but found very little
useful information:
http://www1.sheridaninstitute.ca/services/mobilecomputing/
I suggest you contact the school's IT department for information
on how to use their mail servers.

Incidentally, never post the username portion of your email address
in a public forum like this because it will be harvested by spammers.
