Mail program don't work

I've read several having my same trouble. I have no anti-virus installed at
present. Can't receive or send. I also use spamarrest and have tried it
through that as well as direct from ISP. Here is the error I get.

The connection to the server has failed. Subject 'NavStore - Your Pro Marine
Source - Order Detail', Account: 'Evans at Home', Server:
'smtp.west.cox.net', Protocol: SMTP, Port: 25, Secure(SSL): No, Socket Error:
10061, Error Number: 0x800CCC0E

Any help?

The error message you included pertains only to sending, so I'll
comment on that aspect.
When you got that error message, were you sending from home, or
away from home (using a laptop)?

When your computer was new, did it come with a trial version of
McAfee or Norton antivirus?

We have no way of knowing whether SpamArrest is compatible with
Windows Mail.
