MAIL NOTIFICATIONS NOT BEING RECD

I am regular user of this forum/community. whenever i found interesting
question and/or problem, I would click on "notify me of replies" and i would
receive the notifications and have a look at the replies given.

but since last week or so, the same is not happening. I initially thought
that accidentally it has been turned off so I tried to look into the account
settings of the community, but couldn't find the same. I had searched
manually those questions and found that there were answers given to the same.

any idea, what to do ??
