mail merge with Word from Access based on contact type?

Hi. New to Access. Is it possible to mail merge Access fields into a Word
doc using only entries based on the contact type? I'd like to merge a
portion of the database entries without having to create another database for
specific mailings. Currently using Office 2000 Pro. Will be upgrading soon.

All you need to get the data narrowed down to your criteria is a query. If
you post more specific information, one of us will be glad to give you a
