Mail Merge With Colour Function

R

Rob

Hello, I recently posted to find out how to use the count feature with
a colour cell (where it would count the number of cells with a
specific colour over the entire spreadsheet.

I am curious to find out how i could possibly create a mail merge with
this feature, by insterting all of the names of those whos cell is
green into a payment reciept form using the mail merge..

So a.) how do i set up a mail merge and b.) is it possible to only do
this with a specific cell colour? Thanks!

It's not possible certainly without code, but you must have a criteria in
Excel that turns the cells green, even if that is just a criteria in your
head and you colour the cells manually. What you can then do is have
another cell in the record with 'paid' or 'overdue' or whatever in it and
filter the dataset in word on these cells when doing the merge.
