Hello

I am using Outlook 2000 - SR1.

My contacts are divided into six Categories. I want to flag some of the
contacts in my "Personal" category to receive a Christmas card.

I tried adding a second Category - "card" - to those records but when I mail
merge I am only offered equal to, greater than, etc but not "includes". So I
have to put both categories and then I get two lots of labels.

I can fudge round this by exporting to Access which allows me to select
"card" from "card, personal". but this seems messy.

Any advice gratefully received - only two posting weeks left to Christmas.

Yours sincerely

Are you doing the merge from Outlook? If so, can't you just select the
Contacts you want and construct the merge to "Only selected Contacts?"

Thank you very much. Such a simple solution, I am afraid I am only just
getting to grips with Outlook
