//@mail.mar@ (what is this?)

Can anyone tell me if //@mail.mar@ is Legitimate? When I
ran MS antispyware for the first time, it asked me if I
wanted to block this and I said yes, but now I am
wondering if this is something necessary in running MSN.
Ever since I loaded MS antispyware, my MSN is VERY slow
when I run it to check my e-mail. Any help would be
appreciated. Cathy

Yes, this is, in fact, something legitimate, and associated with Passport
processing with MSN, Microsoft Money, and pehaps other apps which use
Passport. This information comes from Steve Dodson, our Microsoft rep here.

Tools, Real Time Protection, view All Blocked Events should enable you to
reverse this.
