we purchased a new HP for Christmas w/vista premium. Our old computer is now
in the 'other room' on a wireless connection. Our problem is anytime it is
online it recieves our mail on MS Outlook. How do we make windows mail the
primary account for recieving e-mails? Also how do we get 'saves personal
folders to the new computer?

You need to set *both* machines to leave a copy of your messages on the
server, the setting is on the Advanced tab of WM, I am unsure of the precise
location in MS Outlook, probably the same?

Set *one* of the machines to remove from server after a reasonable number of
days, to avoid your ISP mail box from filling up.
Tools>accounts>select account>properties>advanced tab
