Magic Shrinking Listbox

P

We have an ordinary worksheet with an ActiveX listbox
from the Control Toolbox on it. The listfillrange is
dynamic - ie its linked to a table that can grow or
shrink. The odd thing is that everytime a recalculation
is done, even if its a different sheet, the physical size
of the listbox shrinks a bit each time.
As far as I can see, there's no hidden code or anything.
Tthe sheet zoom is 100%. If we set the width and height
properties of the listbox, it still shrinks.
This is only for one particular workbook - I cannot
replicate the strange behaviour on another workbook.
OS XP Pro, Excel XP

Any thoughts would be most welcome

Never seen that. However as a side note I did see some similar behaviour
only on the same setup you describe (XP, Excel XP).

My worksheets contained standard validation dropdowns in one column and
around 5 or so ActiveX command buttons. The ActiveX command buttons would
shrink in height (from around 128 pixels tall to about 32) and the drop
downs would not function. The workbooks were written inhouse and had
nothing in the way of startup or event code etc. Couldn't replicate the
behaviour on any other setup.

we found that the Integralheight property, when set to
False, stopped this. Its not a property that I'm familiar
with.

Thanks for the reply
