made scan progress window movable

It might be nice if you could be able to move the scanning progress window
during a scan. At least on my machine, the windows pops up and is frozen
solid wherever it displayed.

There are other choices. On my machine, it no longer displays--probably
because of choices made using command-line parameters found buried in the
FAQ. However, I've been unable to reverse that--so I never see it!

Yes--this is an excellent suggestion and I feel reasonably sure the behavior
will change with a later beta version.
