Windows XP macro to search in column with formulas

Hi All, PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!!! :bow:

I have a macro to search for particular text in column A but this does not work as the text is converted formula: =IF(Register!$W28<>"","COF","0")
So even ther is COF in the cell, macro will not find it for me.

I am sure that macro is quite OK as it works for other cells without formula.

Please can you advise me to make macro search for any "COF" in column A when this is based on formula
