Macro security level change problem

I can not change my macro security level (tools - macro - security -
security level) in windows XP from medium to high or low. I can click
on both and confirm but the setting doesn't stay valid. Are there any
regedit settings to change or stg else????

Your network administrator may not allow changes to that setting.
Talk to your IT folks. Otherwise, if you are allowed to edit your
registry, I think that it's in

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\8.0\Excel\Microsoft Excel

Of course, that depends on your version....
