Macro Question

JP

Looking for a way to keep macros from infesting other workbooks.
Found a neat toolbar gizmo here:
http://www.contextures.com/xlToolbar02.html

Problem is, the macros are in all of my other workbooks, and that
message always pops up asking me if I want to enable/disable macros.

I want to create a macro for just one specific workbook and leave my
others alone. Possible?

JP,
Yes.
When you get ready to write your Macro.
Select "Tools", "Macro", "Macros". When the window pops up to Create a Macro,
on the bottom of the window, select "Macros in:" This Workbook or the name
of the workbook you are using.

Hey, thanks. I have one more question.

Suppose I want to copy one of the sheets from the workbook that has my
macro on it and send it to a new workbook. What's the procedure for
sending the macro along as well?

JP,
There may be more than this way to do it:
Create new workbook, save as "new name"
Open macro in old workbook, select and copy.
Close old workbook, open "new name" workbook.
Tools, Macro, Macros. Give the Macro a name(can be same).
Remember to select this workbook on bottom. Select "Create".
Paste, make sure you delete one of the "End Sub", if not. It will remind you.
Good luck.
