Mac user, convert wordperfect docs to word

I am on Mac OS 10.4.6. I need to open a .wpd in Word 11.2, which I installed
as part of Office 2004. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks!

Word should be able to open a wpd file with no problem. Open file and
then select WordPerfect.

Word Mac can't do it, sorry. You would have gotten this response faster if
you had posted on the MacWord newsgroup, link below.

The free AbiWord will open wordperfect okay.

Not sure about NeoOffice. Or ask your correspondent to resend as .doc or
..rtf, WordPerfect will create both of them.
