I HAVE A MED SCHOOL ANATAOM PROF THAT IS HELL BENT ON MAKING US ALL BUY A
MAC AND TO THAT END HE FORMATS ALL HIS POWERPOINT LECTURES ON HIS MAC HOW DO
I CONVERT THEM FROM THE MAC POWERPOINT FORMAT TO PC
First, a favor: That key on the left side of the keyboard, the one that says
"Caps Lock"? Press that once, then continue typing. ;-)
Typing in all caps looks like SHOUTING. Harder to read besides. Not the done
thing.
Now, to the real problem ... Mac and PC PPT use the same file format. Each
"platform" and version supports slightly different features, but by and large,
if one version doesn't understand what another version's "saying" it just
ignores it. Kinda like you want to do with the prof's "Get a Mac" agitprop.
;-)
In other words, you should be able to open the Mac files in your own copy of
PPT/Windows. you might have to rename them to make sure they have a .PPT or
..PPS extension ... Macs don't require file extensions and some users don't
bother with them.
Give it a shot, let us know what happens.
