Lsass.exe Error - Endpoint Format Invalid

R

Rich

Whenever I boot up my PC, my screen goes blank right
after the WinXP splash screen. Then a small error appears
and says (In reference to lsass.exe) 'The Endpoint format
is invalid". It gives the option of 'OK', but if I click
it, my computer restarts and the same exact thing
happens. But if I unplug it and wait 15 minutes, it
usually works fine. What is causing this?

Hi,
I understand your issue. Please go through the following solution provided
and let me know .
When you restart your Windows XP computer you may receive the following
error at
boot before logon:

Lsass.exe system error The endpoint format is invalid.

or

Error loading nvqtwk the specified module cannot be found

Solution:
Uninstall the drivers for your Nvidia GeForce 4 card. If that works try to
install
updated drivers from the manufacturers web site.

If this is a PNY GeForce 4 only install the drivers from PNY web site and
see if
the issue still occurs. The Nvida Detonator drivers were known to cause
weird
(sound related) issues with the PNY Geforce 3 card the same may be true
for the
PNY Geforce 4.
