Lotus 123 ver 3.4 DOS running on XP Professional

I have several users who still need to user this DOS based version of Lotus
on XP Pro. machines. One user was just upgraded from Win98 to XP Pro and he
says the program is running slower than it use to on the 98 machine. Are
their some settings, either in autoexec.bat, config.sys or some place else
that I can set to make this program run better?

These computers are networked on a 2000 server domain.

Is there an icon/shortcut on the Desktop for your Lotus 123? If so then
right-click on it and select Properties. If not create one to
facilitate this method:

Now select Compatibility tab and you will have options to select Win95,
Win98 etc etc. Select Win98.

Now also change the display Settings to 640 by 480

Now click on the last box to switch off advanced text services.

So what will this do? As it's a dos app it sets it's own screen attributes.
