Lost wireless network

My apt. complex has an unsecured wireless signal for the residents use.

I can no longer pick it up, yet others don't have any problem.

I pick up plenty of other nearby signals.

Any ideas on what to check for ?

I saw a cable coming out of the wireless transmitter with a connection on the end.

Can an extension be added to boost the receivability ?

Thanks.

Did the connector used to have an antenna on the end ? :)

It's unlikely an entire apartment building could be serviced
with one antenna. If they have a repeater device of some sort
per apartment unit, perhaps that's what you're looking at. I
would check to see if it has been disturbed, or something
disconnected from it.

I bet the superintendent knows how the system works.

Reposition the computer or whatever you are using to pick up the wireless signal.

I have been to within 10 feet of the office, so range is probably not relevant.
