Lost Visual Basic project in Excel 2003

I continue to rec'v a Microsoft Visual Basic error when opening a excel
worksheet w/macros. The first error box I rec'v says, "Error accessings
file. Network connection may have been lost." I click ok, and then rec'v an
error "errors were detected in 'MetricsMaster.xls', but Microsoft Excel was
able to open the file by making the repairs listed below. Save the file to
make these repairs permanent." "Lost Visual Basic project."

I can no longer use the macros. VBA IS installed.

Does anyone know what might be the problem and how to fix it?

The file must have acquired a corruption.
I hope you still have a copy with the macro's.
