Lost USB

I was having some USB problems with my notebook (some devices weren't
being recognized), so I uninstalled all the USB stuff in Device Manager.
I figured Windows would reinstall drivers when I restarted.

But no-o-o. When I restart, I get several of those New Hardware
Wizards, none of which are successful. As result, I have several USB
controllers with the yellow "?" under "other devices."

Isn't it just a matter of getting the right drivers? Where can I get
them, and where should I put them?

Right-click the hardware and click Update driver.
Allow it to access the Windows Update website. It should find a driver, and
will then automatically install it.

How do I get it to do that (go to the website)? The only choices I have
are to install the software automatically or to install from a list or
specific location (on my computer).
