Lost the ability to view Page Source

Warren

Originally, when I selected "View" from the tool bar,
then "Source", I was able to view the HTML source for the
web page being displayed.

Recently, I've lost this ability.
Selecting "View" / "Source" quietly does nothing.

Anhy ideas on how to re-enable this ability?

I get this same problem from time to time. The only
solution I know is to reboot the machine. There's gotta be
a better solution...

This is usually fixed by emptying the Temporary Internet Files.

Also, if you have a shortcut to Notepad on your desktop rename it to Npad.

Some people have reported that Quick View Plus can cause this.

Clear the IE cache. I.E./Tools/Options/General/Delete files (and delete
offline content.) It's often recommended that the Temporary Internet Files
(folder) be kept at
40-50 MB. Bigger isn't necessarily better.

Or if you have a shortcut on your desktop to NotePad rename it Npad
