Lost taskbar and Start Menu

Hello there
I cannot remember what exactly I was doing at the time as I was multi
tasking x10.But regerdless I have lost my task bar,start menu and my ablity
to right click and show my desktop and icons as I generally keep them
hidden.To do anything I have to use my windows task manager by hitting
Ctrl,Alt+Del.Trying to change settings in appearace and themes and clicking
on Taskbar and Start menu does nothing as it wont even open.I have scanned
and rescanned with a few anti virus programs and nothing has shown up.All
spyware and adware are deleted also.I tried re-installing windows xp pro
overtop but it will not let me because it cannot find a file in xp SP2.
Can you please help me before I go bizerk.
Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps you just resized it away. Look closely at the bottom of your desktop
for a thin gray line. If you hover your mouse above it you should see the
up/down arrow bar. When you see this cursor, click and drag up to resize the
taskbar to normal.
