After I broke my CD drive, I lost my sound. Recently I replaced the drive
(with a NEC DVD +/- R/RW Double Layer drive). I hoped that would also fix the
sound problem, but I still have no sound.
I know my speakers work, because when I plug them into the computer I can
hear the static sound as I seat the plug. I also checked the device manager
and everything shows up as working properly there. I hope someone has a
suggestion...thanks.
