Lost News!

Bob Milton

I just installed Outlook 2003 (had been using 2000). Went through the help
to add News to the Go menu, and launched Outlook Express. So far, so good.
Closed Outlook Express. Now, News is GONE from the Go menu, and it is GONE
from the command list (so it cannot be added back!). So, how do I get News
back?

To get the News command back, go back to the Programs tab in Control Panel |
Internet Options and change the default newsreader to Outlook Express. If
OE prompts you to make it your default newsreader the next time you launch
it, clear the "Always perform this check..." box and then click the No
button.

Russ,
Thanks, that worked. Just wish that were noted in the help for outlook
somewhere.

So do I since the question is posted here at least 10 times a day.
