Lost MS Search Engine

M

MapleE.

Hi:
For some reason, there is NO 'MS Search' upon clicking on
'Search' at the top. Instead, there is 'Live Search' that is quite
similar to 'MS Search,' however I prefer to get 'MS Search'
back.

In my desperation, I did 'System Restore,' but it didn't help.

My question is;
"how to get 'MS Serach Engine' back?'

The pc is XP with IE 6.

Thanks for your help in advance.

Hi:
Thanks for the response.

Is there any way to go back to the original
'MS Search engine?'

After having automatic update which comes when
closing XP, this, new 'Live Search' showing up.

I still love to have the original 'MS Search.'

Thanks,

I'm not sure if this will help you but you could try, before editing the
Registry to BackUp, if any thing gone wrong and you need to restore you can
do from the back.
