lost key to software!

I purchased Windows 2000 Pro. and discovered during the
install that I did'nt have the 'Certificate of Authencity'
and therefore couldn't install the key that came with the
software. How can I get a certificate of authencity?

You don't need the certificate you need the product key that is usually on
the CD if it is not there and it is an OEM version you need to contact the
place of purchase
