I was going through a long list of my emails today after a prolonged period
of downtime. My downtime was the result of a crash of my old dell which had
XP on it. I was sent a new dell with vista. My old motherboard crashed, so
the only way I could get my files was to take the hard drive out and get a
reader for it, transferring all its contents to a new external drive on my
new dell. My question is this. I believe that I am missing a bunch of old
emails which were not previously saved into folders, but which were just left
in my inbox for years. I was able to find and transfer all of my previously
saved folders with old emails which I had catagorized. Is it possible that
they are still in my old hard drive files? Would they have been transferred
over and then put somewhere else on my vista mail? Any help obviously
appreciated.
