Hi Tim,
It appears that this computer has some problem in running the logon script.
Generally, if he has some problematic application installed, the
application may prevent the logon script from running. At this time, please
try the following steps for troubleshooting:
1. Run the script on the client directly and manually. Then check if there
is any error message and if the drivers get mapped. This will help us
verify if the script is able to run on this client properly.
2. Let me know how you map the drivers in this script. It is better to send
the script to me at (e-mail address removed). You can rename its extension to
..txt so it will not be clocked by mailing system.
3. Please try clean boot Windows XP and then check if this issue persists.
a. Click "Start"->"Run".
b. Type MSCONFIG and press Enter to launch MSCONFIG (Microsoft System
Configuration Utility).
c. Click "Selective Startup".
d. Clear "Process Win.ini file" and "Load startup items".
e. Click "Services" tab. Check "Hide All Microsoft Services" and then
click "Disable All".
f. Click "OK" and follow the instructions to restart Windows.
g. Check if this issue persists.
4. When this computer gets logged on, try to run F: directly and H:
directly to see if you can see the information successfully.
Please verify the above information for troubleshooting and then let me
know the results. If you encounter any difficulties or have any questions
related, please feel free to let me know.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Regards,
Eric Shen
