Lost default folders!

Touchpad tapping feature has always been a bad thing for me and this time its
done me in!

Tapping somehow grabbed My Documents folder and dropped it into the Recycle
Bin before I realised I had picked it up... I was able to restore all the
folders I made, but the default ones that come with Windows such as My
Pictures, My Video, those folders are gone, and everything in them!!

How do I retrieve these folders from the Recycle Bin? I've lost everything I
care about because of some silly tapping thing I hate anyway!

I've looked everywhere, but any of th folders that Windows comes setup with
are completely gone!!

Help!!

Hi Brian,

It may be too late now, but if that occurs, pressing Ctrl-Z will undo
the action. I'm not sure why your other folders disappeared unless they
were too large to be stored in the RB.

Free:

Fee based recovery program:
http://www.file-saver.com/undelete/default.aspx

Google "free file undelete" for others.

Good luck,

Wow this is terrible... I can see all my deleted folders with the Fee based
programs, but the free ones are not getting anything important at all!

Is there a REALLY good free one? I'm broke, can't afford $50 for a recovery
program right now...

This is so sad, I just want my files back, and I can see them!! But then I
get "put in a key!" and I cry...

The fee one I suggested is only $20 USD.

You could keep looking and see if a free one will "see" them.

I've personally used Restoration 2.5.14 before with good results, albeit
on a camera SD card:
