Lost contacts during Active Sync with Treo

I use active sync to sync my outlook contact information from my PC to my
Treo phone... no problem. But then I decided I needed my work information
also on my Treo from my lap top at work. I thought everything transferred
fine, but when I went to sync with my home PC again, active sync replaced all
of my personal contact information on my PC with my work information from my
lap top. Is there any way I can retrieve all of my personal contact
information that was originally on my PC? Is it stored somewhere on my PC
that I can find it??? Thank you!

Restore them from a backup. Changes made by syncing are final. No one uses
syncing without making frequent backups.

Thank you Russ, but I am the rookie that did not back up. Can you tell me
how I should go about backing it up. Thank you.

The simplest thing to do is just make a copy of your Outlook data file
periodically.
The file you need is your Personal Folders file (*.pst) It's where all the
mail, calendar, contacts etc are stored.
