Loss of .pst file in Outlook

Outlook has stopped working and I am receiving messages of errors in C:\Doc &
Settings\ file.pst and instructions to use scanpst.exe to repair. Scanpst.exe
says file no longer exists - what can I do to recover?

Start by asking in the Outlook newsgroup. That's where the Outlook
experts hang out.
