Loop Slides with Exit based on specific time

I am trying to automate our church PP presentation which is currently mostly
manual.
We have announcements on timed slides that end with a 5 minute countdown.
One issue is that the show must be started at exactly 15 minutes before the
service begins or the countdown is off. Also if the quantity of announcement
slides changes, the timings must be adjusted to maintain the overall length
of time.

I wanted to know if there was a way to make the announcement slides loop
until a specific time was reached (5 minutes before service start), and then
the slides for the 5 minute timer would begin.

This way the show would work whether it was started 30 minutes or 5 minutes
before the service start. And as the quantity of announcement slides
fluctuates, no additional work would be required.

The good news is that you do it. The bad news is that I think it is going to
require VBA to pull it off.
