Looking to convert data from old to new (but same Access version)

In the health field and we've discovered we need a bit more info on our
patients. So, I've got our patients in the DB now but have just added
several additional fields that will need to be filled out.

Q: Is it possible to do an overlay of this update? I've got 7 clinics that
are NOT LINKED TO A CENTRAL REPOSITORY. Each of these clinics manage their
DB's. I've got the "improved" DB on discs for them. Can it be done?

Unfortunately, I'm rather GREEN at this as I've only been using Access for
exactly 2 days (although I've been blindly entering data for eons). Seems no
one here has any experience with our DB and I was dumb enough to step up. I
don't have any idea about "code" and all that. I'm just dangerous enough to
ask the questions.

got any other ideas for me?
