looking for Microsoft MVP FrontPage

Sammy

Hi All,

I am trying to find a Microsoft MVP FrontPage that has a website that I can
link to in my "Resources" section for my clients and as well would consider
linking my site (done with FrontPage 2002) within his/her site. I appreciate
your consideration of this and look forward to hearing from you.

Just look at the signature line of most of the FP MVPs post for their website.

I have built my references, customer base as well as links to partner and
other sites on a permission basis only. To post someone's site without
permission doesn't sit well. I appreciate your understanding of such.

Sam

I appreciate that. In particular, I am hoping to have 1 or 2 that are
wanting to provide a link. I currently have a site link for a Windows MVP
which is very helpful to my clients. I will not place a multiple link up due
to the fact that without permission provided, it can lead to certain
problems that I would rather not look at having to consider. I know this
sounds sticky, but I just prefer it this way. Thanks very much for the link.

Regards,
Sam

Then write to the individuals.

However I don't think you will have any problems with linking to any of the MVPs website, since it
is part of our signatures.

Question: Are you looking for the MVPs to also link back to your site as well?

Sammy,

Why does it have to be a MVP? There are people supporting this NG that are more knowledgeable than some of the MVPs here. I can name
several.

There is no special test or requirements to become one. In some cases it is the "good buddy" election or marketing decisions by MS.

I would hope this would be the case. Showing at the same time that my site
was done completely in FrontPage 2002

Thanks,
Sam

I wasn't aware of that. I apologize for my ignorance. You are quite correct
and yes, I am more than interested. I want to have an outlet for my clients
to provide them with positive and free assistance/support.

Thanks,
Sam

I would guess that one Mr. Tom Pepper (Willet) would be on the list.

MD seems, to me, to be a bitter, ex-MVP, with an axe to grind.

Tom *is* an MVP, no?

I think Tom was an MVP before there was a Microsoft. ;)

Sam, actually MVPs are chosen for their contribution to the FrontPage
community and for their professionalism in assisting Microsoft's customers.
It's not a political process. Most MVPs don't even know each other until
Microsoft puts them together.

Your choice to include MVP site links on your site is a good one. I use
many MVP sites regularly for the valuable information contained in them; not
only FrontPage MVPs, but other MVPs as well.
